Our No-Mess Blend is great near flower beds, patios and decks. Our unique No-Mess Blend bird seed features seeds that have had their shells removed so only the meat of the seed is left. No hulls on the seeds makes for tidier feeding, since there’s no debris on the ground to clean up. Pound for pound, our No-Mess Blend bird seed offers the best value because you do not pay for uneaten seed waste.

Our No-Mess Blend’s mix of sunflower chips, hulled white millet and shelled peanuts appeals to birds that eat at the feeder or on the ground. Mealworms are the larvae of the beetle Tenebrio molitor. Birds such as chickadees, bluebirds, wrens and woodpeckers will eat mealworms, if they are placed in a feeder accessible to the birds. Because mealworms can crawl, it is best to place them in a feeder where they cannot crawl out. For longer storage they should be placed in bran flakes, wheat bran or corn meal in a container having air holes. A potato or apple slice should be kept in the container for the worms to use as a moisture source.

The roof protects the birds and food from the elements. The perforated metal bottom keeps the seed dry and lifts out for easy cleaning. These feeders and houses prevent used milk jugs from making their way into our landfills. Just twist the 4-foot base pole into the ground using the convenient corkscrew auger.
